“Nature does not hurry yet everything is accomplished.” Lao Tzu..
This past year has been the most challenging year of growth. I know this to be true for others as well. Veils have been lifted. Relationships have changed. Vulnerability was a forced lesson. A literal stripping away of my life, thoughts, beliefs, identity, friends, family, and career path occurred. When this universal force of releasing all that did not belong on my souls path was finished I thought I would see light. I did, but still grey clouds hogged that light of freedom. I was then forced to practice surrendering. As one who embodies more masculine energy due to having to constantly thrive to survive independently, surrendering was unknown to me. Slowly, I embraced feminine energy of allowing myself to be nurtured, guided, respected, and simply taken care of. I not only surrendered to feminine energy, I surrendered to the universe. I always say faith and flow are your best friends but practicing both when life’s struggles get the best of you is hard. I also was forced to surrender to slowing down. My natural hustle hustle hustle mode was wearing me down and making me sick. I learned that surrendering to divine time and allowing myself to rest actually helped my goals become accomplished! It was the magical ingredient...
I invite you to practice surrendering. Allow yourself to be taken care of by the universe. Quiet your mind. Calm your actions. Just be. Just listen. Just trust.
Ask and it Is Given by Esther and Jerry Hicks is life changing. I personally struggled with the law of attraction due to my emotions and thoughts getting in the way. This easy to read and connect with book helps you understand the vibration of each emotion and thought. The authors do an amazing job at helping you turn a low vibration emotion into a higher one so that you raise your own personal vibration. That is the key ingredient in the law of attraction, personal vibration. I use this book for daily guidance to attract my desires. I recommend this book to all of my clients and they have the same reaction, "LIFE CHANGING."
Okay, so let's be real. It's pretty hard to be grateful when life throws you lemons and you feel like your drowning in lemonade. Recently, life has thrown me challenge after challenge. When I look back on the last two months I realize I could have handled my reactions and emotions a lot better. I wanted to escape and numb all my issues. My mind was exploding with worry, stress, shock, and RESISTANCE. I allowed my ego to take over and create "worse case scenarios." I remembered to be grateful for the things that were going right in my life but found myself in doubt. Faith went out the door and flow was captured by resistance. As a result I lost that connection with my soul.
Now that I have been trying to rebuild that beautiful soulful connection I am reminded how much resistance causes inner and outer struggles. Perhaps, the universe put these challenges in my life to remind me how strong I am. I literally had to dig deep into my core to rediscover my strength. To find my faith and be able to flow. What I learned from this is yes, life can flow but challenges will occur. It is your reaction and emotional control that dictates whether you continue to flow while challenges arise.
One has to remember that the universe is always supporting you even if it feels the opposite. I set the intention for change to happen in my life and as I look back I see how these circumstances that occurred needed to happen so change could occur. The universe knows what is best for you and even if you can't see it in the fog of doubt and struggle. Know there will me clarity once you allow yourself to quiet the mind and release resistance.
My tips when you find yourself drowning in lemonade
BREATHE... breathe into the tension you feel in your body caused my stress and worry.
BUDDY TIME... find a member of your soul family and be vulnerable about your feelings and current struggles. If you are unsure of who your soul family is then PLEASE get in touch with me. :)
TREES and GREENS.... Get out in nature. Hug a tree and soak the soles of your feet in grass as this allows you to absorb mother earth's grounding energy. This will calm an overactive mind.
MEDITATE.... this changes the brainwave and releases serotonin.. the HAPPY chemical.
REIKI.... book an appointment with me. Balanced chakras will bring clarity and balance between the mind and body. You will feel lighter and happier.
Remember, the more we show gratitude the more we attract what we want in life. Turn that pool of lemonade into a refreshing glass on a beautiful sunny summer day.
